Here's a drawing of Sonic & Sally I've been working on for a contest at
 The premise was to switch Sonic & Sally's roles-- Sonic being a prince and Sally being the way past cool action hero-type thingy. I know Sonic doesn't look very princely, but I thought he wouldn't go into "battle" in full royal garb. I tried to make it a scene similar to the opening of the awesomest cartoon ever-- Sonic SatAM... where Sally would be jumping down head first into SWATbots while Prince Sonic watches in nervous despair before going to fiddle with computers or somesuch thing Sally would normally do. I'm not nuts about the background, so I plan to work more on it later-- the contest ends in a day or two so I wanted to submit it as soon as possible.  I'm trying to work on my cel-shading-ish technique, as I've tried it before and didn't like what I was producing, but I've been told it better suits my style. Well, enjoy. Back to work for me! |
